Picked up the Chetak sometime after Christmas. NoHo scooters was very busy during the holidays. The Chetak looks great with the new seat. I will post some pictures of it soon.
There is one caveat to switching out the stock Bajaj seat... The new PX200 style seating position is a bit more forward on the bike. So room for a pillion has pretty much disappeared. No big deal for me though. I knew when I purchased the Chetak that two up riding was not going to be much of an option.
Gas mileage is now about seventy MPG. Top speed for me is about fifty MPH on level ground. I have about one thousand miles on the clock by now. The bike is revving way better now that it's broken in. Can feel a bit more power there. I mainly use the kickstart. She usually starts on the first or second kick.
